All proceeds from this event will benefit Lifeline Community Services, a community-based human services organization that serves low-income and underserved populations in San Diego County. Every year, Lifeline serves more than 25,000 members of our community through clinically strong, evidence-based programs that focus on positive youth development, child abuse prevention, housing and self-sufficiency, behavioral health, and anti-human-trafficking and survivor services.
We are now a Zero Waste Event
In alignment with DPR’s goal of becoming a Zero Waste Company by 2030, we are proud to announce our partnership with the Solana Center for Environmental Innovation to make this year’s Cornhole Classic a Zero Waste Event. Initiatives include: source-separation of all waste and food organics with the intent to achieve 95%+ diversion from landfills, use of reusable aluminum cups, compostable food packaging and utensils, and 3-stream waste stations throughout with volunteers to assist with sorting and education.
